Lost in Paris!

We woke up in Paris packed all our things because it was our last day there. We checked out at 11am but our flight didn't fly out till 7pm. We asked the hotel if they could hold our bags until our flight left. They said yes and they pointed us in the direction of the holding room. No key, no security, anyone can go in and it was facing a glass window towards the street. Yes, we left our bags there and went on the the museum. I know we're crazy but what else were we to do.
At the Museo de Louver we went straight to see the Mona Lisa. It was so cool to be able to see such a famous painting up close (with heavy security and bullet proof glass and a hundred or so tourists trying to get the same photo as you). We walked around the HUGE museum for hours and still didn't get to see all the art work. So much to see and take in all at once. We even got to see the Venus de Milo and a real mummy.
After the museum we "had enough time" to grab something to eat. We ate then picked up our bags from the hotel. Thank God our bags were still there.
Before we left the hotel I asked Ralph should we ask the front desk directions on how to get to our bus stop to Ryanair. He said" no I know where we are going". I took his word and went on the metro (subway) towards our stop. We got off and landed in a place we had never seen in Paris. It was all business like with huge building all around us. We asked someone if they knew where Ryanair picks up. Umm they didn't speak English! At this point we only had 3 hours till our plane departed and we still have a 1 hour ride to the airport. We found an information stand an asked her where the congress building was because I remembered it being in front of the bus station. She looked at us with a sad face and said we were on the wrong side of town. We had to race back down to the metro and race towards our bus. Ralph had our 2 bags while we ran. How come I was the one to trip and fall over a step? We got there 20 min late but  a bus was about to take another trip to the airport. We hopped on the bus with 2hrs left till our flight left.

Our bus ride was 2 hours long! We were in traffic and our bus driver was a turtle. We raced again to the terminal asked to skip everyone in line and checked in. We dashed towards our gate and the flight was delayed an hour. Thank God for Ryanair always being late. We got our on flight and landed in Madrid at 10pm. By the time we got our hotel and ate it was past 12:30pm. We were exhausted and happy to be back in Madrid!
