Ralphy's Last day in Madrid

We had a plan today of going to the world famous Real Madrid Stadium. This is Madrid soccer stadium and famous because Spain won the World Cup last year. Ralphy was very excited about going to this stadium because it also had a soccer museum inside. On our way to to museum we stopped at Museo de Prado because my friends from UTA were going to meet us there early in the morning. We found them said hi and invited them to join us. They came along and it was great to see them get along so well with Ralph. At one point of the soccer tour the girls and I were having a little too much fun  taking so many photos. Ralph was like a little kid at the candy store when we got to the store for Real Madrid. He wanted everything. He walked out with a jersey and a few other things.

After the stadium we went to a restaurant and ate lunch. After lunch Rosa joined me and Ralph to our side of town. Rosa is one of my friends that is taking a course here with me. She came over to our hotel to hang out for a while and then we went out to dinner at WORLDS FIRST EVER RESTAURANT. Mark Twain is known to have written a couple of his books here while having dinner. We were so excited to be able to go because Ralphy had been looking up really cool places to go and found this restaurant. 

After dinner, we all headed towards my apartment where I will be staying the rest of my tour. I have 3 friends rooming with me. Ralph met everyone then headed out to the party. Claudia and Anna joined us three to the GIANT pride festival at Plaza de Espana down the rode. This was bigger then NYC New years eve party. It was crazy how many people were there. Spain knows how to throw a party. We stayed out till 1:30am and then left. We had to drop off Rosa at her place so we took the metro. Oh by the way the escalators were not working so we climbed like 18-20 flights of stairs to get to the metro. Rosa got home safe but we still had to get back on the metro to go back to our hotel. It was 2am and the metro stopped running. We were left without a way to our hotel but to walk through the crazy crowd of people from the festival. We walked till 3am then we asked for a taxi to take us the last 5 blocks. We made back safe but wow a crazy night and crazy luck we have.
